February Health Goal Update

As promised in my 2025 Health Goals , here is the monthly goal update for February. Here is the emoji key that I i'm using for reference: πŸ˜ƒπŸ’š - very happy with the result πŸ˜•πŸ’› - ok with the result but some room for improvement πŸ˜ πŸ”΄ - not happy with the result # of pounds lost: 2  πŸ˜ƒπŸ’š # of workouts completed: 7  πŸ˜ƒπŸ’š breakdown of # of days that I fully met, partially met or didn't meet my food goals:  πŸ˜ πŸ”΄ I was on vacation for the first half of the month, so I think losing 2 pounds and getting 7 workouts in is pretty good. My weight stayed pretty much flat while traveling. The 7 workouts were all basically in the last half of the month so for that portion of the month, I achieved my goal of 3 workouts per week. I'm going to just give this one a negative reaction and try again in March.

You'll want to ask yourself if there is a specific place that you want to go or if you are flexible in terms of location. It will be a lot easier to find award availability if you have location flexibility. If you are set on traveling to a specific location, another way to create location flexibility is to book what's called a "self-transfer" where you book the award flight to/from a different location than your desired location then book a separate flight/train/whatever to/from the award flight location. ...

I've decided that for each monthly goal, I'll use the following emojis to denote how happy I am with the result. πŸ˜ƒπŸ’š - very happy with the result πŸ˜•πŸ’› - ok with the result but some room for improvement πŸ˜ πŸ”΄ - not happy with the result # of pounds lost: 1.6  πŸ˜•πŸ’› # of workouts completed: 13  πŸ˜ƒπŸ’š breakdown of # of days that I fully met, partially met or didn't meet my food goals:  πŸ˜•πŸ’› I lost more in the first half but went through a period of poor food choices towards the middle of the month. I self-corrected a bit towards the end of the month. We'll see what February looks like since I'm on vacation for pretty much the first half of the month) I would like the "Fully Met" bucket to be at least 60% (ideally 75%) and the "Didn't Meet" bucket to be closer to 15% or less (about once a week). I decided to still give myself a medium reaction since this i...
